After a long day of boating, water skiing, or fishing, guests can return home and relax in the hot tub or continue the day's fun in the games room playing pool or darts. The Fairfax State Recreation area is also nearby for swimming at Lake Monroe. Guests can bring their own water craft or they can rent a boat from one of the local rental companies. Sail boat moorings are available nearby at www.lakemonroesailing.com. The cabin reservation includes complimentary use of three kayaks (liability waiver must be signed prior.) The Lake House sleeps 6 guests and is just minutes away from Bloomington and Nashville where good dining, entertainment, and shopping are in abundance.
