“Peace” two room apartment Toggle favorite

The stay was lovely. Just what we needed.

I rented this place for a sister’s get away and it was exactly as mentioned.

Small cozy apartment below the owners home.
Everything was exactly as described.

Everything was cleaned and smelled great.
Hot tub was PERFECT!!

Extremely easy from start to finish. The place was exactly as described, gorgeous surroundings, peaceful, quiet. Peter and Suzanne were extremely friendly and communicated clearly.

Had a wonderful weekend getaway in “Peace”. We loved the hot tub, especially at night when you could hear and see the wildlife. Kitchenette was perfect for brining home leftovers when we went to Bloomington to eat.
Peter was very polite and responded quickly when we had questions.
I would definitely stay here again!

We were in town for a wedding and the Airbnb was super close to the venue. The house were flexible about check-in time so that we could get ready before the wedding all around a good short stay nice and clean.

Was just the peace we needed

This is an incredible spot! We loved the space and the hot tub. If you want a peaceful spot that is still near a city, this is the spot. We had a great time hiking through the woods and Peter was super friendly and fun to chat with. Will absolutely return if we're ever in the area again. ❤️

Pros- Peter was a very kind welcoming host. The hot tub works well and is in a great space. The linens were soft and comfortable. The location is right in between Bloomington and Nashville with a quick scenic drive to either.

Cons- the space smelled a bit smokey. There isn’t a thermostat to control the temp. The previous tenants had left the hot tub gross so Peter drained and refilled it. (Pro is it was clean, con was it wasn’t hot until the second day of our overnight stay.) Not their fault, this was just our experience. Overall, it was a good experience and stay.

We loved staying here! From the nature to the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the room, we enjoyed our weekend away. We went kayaking on yellow wood lake nearby, and were able to visit downtown Bloomington for eats and treats. This was a great location to be out of the hustle and bustle and unwind while also close enough to experience what the inner city has to offer. We did not use the hot tub but would have if we weren’t so tired from our adventures! The snacks/ breakfast was just what we needed in our room, we appreciate the bottled water provided also! Also the soap in the shower smells amazing! All amenities were the icing on the cake for this stay.

Peter was out and about on his property as we came and went multiple times. He was extremely friendly and always offered to be helpful and accommodating. We felt right at home!

A peaceful getaway in the middle of beautiful natural Indiana scenery! We had a great time.

A gem of a find! Great location for a weekend trip to explore either Nashville, Bloomington or Brown County State Park. We were so well located we were able to visit all three. Peter was extremely kind and helpful. Our stay in peace provided plenty of that with the beautiful surroundings and lots of time in the hot tub watching fireflies in the evenings. Above and beyond with the continental breakfast, many games available, WiFi and cable tv. We could have spent the weekend solely in the apartment enjoying our stay. Would return again readily!

This place was perfect for a girls getaway! We spent time in Bloomington and in Nashville. Peter greeted us upon arrival and made us feel so welcome. The hot tub was HOT and we had it all to ourselves. The complimentary breakfast was adorable! There were games to play, a nice tv, WiFi, plenty of bedding, and the fan was appreciated. I want to go back with my husband and I’ve already recommended it to another couple. Thanks Peter!

Perfect place for our quick visit to move our son out of the dorm… hot tub felt great after a long drive and late arrival.

Very peaceful and quiet!

My girl and I had a wonderful stay at the peace cabin. It was very private and peaceful, the hot tub was great, and it has great access to Bloomington. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to get away for a weekend!

This was very nice local get away. While it’s a shared space under the home, you have all the privacy on the world.

Beautiful in the fall! And the hot tub was perfect after a long hike. Peter and Suzanne were so hospitable and helpful when we asked for recommendations. Great hosts and a great space.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Very nice little set up. You can enjoy the country but still close to things to do. The only thing that we were not happy with was the bed was very firm. I understand not everyone will like the same thing. It just wasn't what our bodies were used to. We enjoyed the games as a family and the hot tube too!

The property was incredibly serene...peaceful is an understatement. You're in the middle of a forest. Literally 15 min from Yellowstone State Forest. The hot tub was great, as was the room. Everything was super clean and the extras were nice too (softest spare blankets in the closest EVER 🙂 I would stay again, 100% if we stay in Bloomington again!

Was AMAZING.
So clean, spacious, and just serene. It’s just far enough away to hear birds and nothing else. But within arms reach for shopping or dinner. Will DEFINITELY Be back.

Everything was well advertised & communicated. Hot tub was great with great privacy! Only thing is it smelled of smoke & my clothes smelled like smoke the next day because of it. Other than that it was a perfect stay!

I had a lovely stay here! I briefly met Peter and Suzanne as I was pulling in, and they were very accommodating hosts. The B&B is located in a peaceful setting with some very nice outdoor amenities. I highly recommend staying here.

Very nice place. I reserved both "Peace" and "Quiet" for myself and my cousin. After a 50 mile bike ride, we really enjoyed the hot tub!

A step outside of this busy world, and a slice of amazing calm, cool quiet Buddha tranquility. From Peter’s warm welcoming smile and cats sweet hello and let’s not forget Hoss’s (the dog) sweet good night. The space was definitely exceeded expectation.
